BTS At Our First (G)Pop-In Located at Governors Island in Collaboration with ArtCrawl Harlem

(G) Project: Immigrants are Us Debuts “What’s Your (G) Status?” Pop-In Campaign During ArtCrawl Harlem’s “Boundaries & Connections: Art & Activism” Artist Residency On Governors Island Weekends, May 1-October 23, 2021

The public is invited to visit Governors Island and “pop-in” to experience the art installation of What Is Your (G) Status beginning every Saturday and Sunday May 1st and 2nd from noon – 5:00 p.m. all summer until October 23rd. Sponsored by the (G)eneration Project, a public art campaign from the Harlem Art Foundation, What Is Your (G) Status proposes that we are ALL immigrants of different generations- G-0 born elsewhere, G-1 first-generation born here and so on – so that we may see ourselves in each other, and each other in ourselves.

Below are BTS images of the installation!
